Thursdays Quarter Recipe

This weeks Recipe Theme is SNACKS.

We made mini apple pops. I used a melon baller and made small apple balls.  Then I stuck lollipop sticks into each ball.  And then covered them with peanut butter. DSC_9200

I layed out a variety of dips-wheat germ, coconut, sprinkles, jimmies and chocolate chips.

Molly ate them faster than I could spread the peanut butter on.

I think we will take a break for next week!  Someone mentioned something about a holiday happening or something!

Paper Beads

DSC_9175

This is a really easy project!  You will need magazines, scissors, a pencil, glue and something to string your beads on.

First pick magazine pages that have lots of color-either all one color or a lot of different colors.

DSC_9136

Cut the pages into flag shapes (triangles) or long strips.

Roll them tightly around a pencil and place a dab of glue at the end and hold for a second until it sticks. Gently slide beads off the end of the pencil.

Let the beads dry before stringing them.

More in Black and White

I am still really enjoying the Black and White November Challenge.  I walk the same path most mornings.  Varying it a bit;  one day this way another day that way.  But most days I feel like I have seen it all before, so  its often hard to find things to take photos of.  This challenge has helped me look at the same old scene in a different way.  Thanks Maya!
